A selection of props created for Brain and Nerd's tongue-in-cheek office management sim, INCubator.
Working closely with the Art Director for feedback, these assets were to be simplistic yet readable in their silhouette (since they were going to be viewed at a distance). The same followed for the texturing process. We were to go for more soft, muted colour tones that were less saturated and bright. The soft bevelled edges and soft colour palette leads itself to a cute and stylistic art style that INCubator is known for. Modelling with modularity in mind, some assets like the sound-desk use multiple texture sets for each prop, but most fit onto a single texture sheet.
All assets were modelled in Blender from a High-Poly model, to a Low-Poly model and baked and textured in Substance 3D Painter. These were then imported into Unity and set up as a prefab ready for use by the programming team in-game.
